We did another run of as much of the musical as we could fit into the time, as well as finishing the end of act 1 that we didn't finish with the other cast earlier in the day. The second time we did act one we all seemed to take on board the lessons we learned from earlier in the day. While still on perfect, On the Street, All Cover You and Christmas Bells were all greatly improved. Overall we seem to be getting more of a feel for act one and an emotional tone like we have had for act two. Act one is more fun, rebellious and at times a little silly and act one is now capturing that a lot more which is important I feel as it will make act two all the more poignant.
While it did go well and is almost perfect, Another Day was still not perfect as again I had some timing trouble but will make sure I have it perfect for rehearsals next week. The movement of set and chairs was also improved, still not perfect but much improved.
Overall it seems that the whole performance is on track and is close to being ready, just a few things now need to be polished.
